Veteran Real Estate Reporter Joins Crye-Leike Sales Force

Memphis, Tenn. – Crye-Leike, Realtors announces that Jerry Obermark, after over 30 years of reporting Memphis’ real estate news for The Commercial Appeal, has joined Crye-Leike as an affiliate broker. Obermark took early retirement from the news business and is now affiliated with Crye-Leike’s East Memphis branch office, located at 585 South Perkins.

“I wanted to share in the excitement when families are pleased with their homes,” says the Midtown resident.  Obermark chose to join Crye-Leike specifically from the respect for Crye-Leike he gained from personal experience.

“I followed the company story from initial formation to expansion and unprecedented growth in the Memphis area and the Mid-South region,” says Obermark.

“The company’s owners have not only held together as partners, they have invested continually in resources and training programs to better ensure that the customer receives quality service when buying or selling a home.”

Obermark serves the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in and around Shelby County as well as the surrounding counties of Fayette and Tipton. He specializes in residential real estate as well as residential and commercial investing. Obermark is a member of the National, Tennessee and Memphis Area Associations of Realtors.

Obermark’s real estate reporting and writing have garnered him awards from the National Association of Home Builders, the National Association of Realtors and the Memphis/Mid-South Chapter of Lambda Alpha International, an honorary society for the advancement of land economics.
