Crye-Leike Agent Cathy Wood Excels in Residential Brokerage

Nashville, Tennessee – Cathy Wood of Crye-Leike, Realtors has been awarded the designation of certified residential specialist (CRS) by the Council of Residential Specialists, a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Only 5 percent of all Realtors nationwide have earned this distinction.

The CRS designation is a nationally recognized professional designation and the highest credential awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field.  The CRS program provides Realtors with the skills needed to render greater and broader services to help clients maximize profits and minimize costs in the home buying or selling transaction process.

To earn the CRS credential, Wood demonstrated professional expertise and a proven track record in the field of residential real estate as well as advanced education in the related fields of finance, marketing and technology.  She has over 16 years of real estate experience.

Wood, a native of Middle Tennessee and resident of Mt. Juliet, is affiliated with Crye-Leike’s Mt. Juliet branch office, located at 1285 North Mt. Juliet Road. She works as a real estate team with her husband, Jim, specializing in residential sales and new homes construction. Cathy and her husband serve the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in and around Wilson County as well as in the surrounding counties of Davidson, Robertson, Rutherford and Williamson.

As a multi-million dollar producer, Wood has attained membership into Crye-Leike’s Multi-Million Dollar Club, a level of distinction that recognizes her outstanding sales performance in individually selling annually in excess of $2 million in real estate. She also is ranked among Crye-Leike’s Top 25 sales producers for 2004, an achievement that places her among the top 25 sales associates who have attained the highest volume in sales for the company within Crye-Leike’s Middle Tennessee Region. The rankings are based on closed gross commission income.

Her sales production was further recognized by the Eastern Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors for selling over $5 million in real estate in 2004 which qualifyed her for the association’s Platinum Award.

In addition to securing her CRS designation, Wood has attained several other professionally recognized recognitions.  She is an accredited buyer representative (ABR), specializing in real estate buyer representation, and a graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI), which signifies specialization in residential and non-residential brokerage.

Wood is a member of the National, Tennessee, and Eastern Middle Tennessee Associations of Realtors. She also is a member of the Mt. Juliet/West Wilson Chamber of Commerce and the Mt. Juliet Civitan Club.
