Crye-Leike’s Barbara Payne Earns Coveted Buyer Representative Status

Chattanooga, Tenn. – Crye-Leike, Realtors announces that Barbara Goettmann Payne of Ooltewah, Tenn., has been named an accredited buyer representative by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC), an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors and the only nationally recognized distinction for buyer’s agents.

As an accredited buyer representative (ABR), Payne specializes in real estate buyer representation. The ABR designation demonstrates to Payne’s clients that she has taken steps to continue her education in the field of buyer representation and has proven experience and training to deliver ethical and professional service to real estate buyers.

Requirements for this ABR designation include a comprehensive two-day course in buyer representation, a written examination on legal and practical aspects of client representation and practical experience in the field of buyer representation.

Payne is affiliated with Crye-Leike’s East Brainerd branch office, located at 1510 Gunbarrel Rd. Licensed in Tennessee and Georgia, she assists buyers and sellers in Hamilton County as well as in the surrounding counties of Bledsoe, Bradley and Sequatchie in Tennessee, including Catoosa, Dade and Walker counties in North Georgia. Payne specializes in residential real estate. She is a member of the National, Tennessee, Chattanooga and River County Associations of Realtors.

Prior to entering the real estate industry three years ago, Payne was in the health administration for more than 40 years. She holds a bachelor of science in occupational therapy from Washington University in St. Louis and a master’s degree in secondary education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
