Crye-Leike’s Claire Smith Claims Coveted ABR Status
Chattanooga, Tenn. – Multi-million dollar producer Claire Smith of Crye-Leike, Realtors has been named an accredited buyer representative (ABR) by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.
This distinction is signified by the ABR designation, the benchmark of excellence in real estate buyer representation. Displaying her ABR designation demonstrates to clients that Smith has taken additional steps to continue her education in the field of buyer representation, and has the proven experience and training to deliver ethical and professional services to real estate buyers.
Among Crye-Leike’s 2,850 sales force, Smith is among a select few who has achieved this distinction. There are over 300 Crye-Leike sales associates who hold the ABR designation, with over 1,512 active ABR members in Tennessee. Collectively, there are more than 33,000 real estate professionals in North America who have earned the ABR designation.
To attain this coveted ABR designation, Smith met strict requirements, including taking a comprehensive two-day course in buyer representation and a written examination on legal and practical aspects of client representation as well as having practical experience in the field of buyer representation.
Smith is affiliated with Crye-Leike’s Signal Mountain branch office, located at 1210 Taft Highway, Signal Plaza, in Signal Mountain. She is a member of Crye-Leike’s Multi-Million Club, which recognizes her sales achievement in individually selling annually in excess of $2 million and meeting other stringent ethical and professional requirements as set forth by Crye-Leike to achieve its annual total sales volume of $4.6 billion in 2004.
As a broker, Smith markets residential properties to buyers and sellers in and around Hamilton County, specializing in first-time homebuyers, neighborhood homes on Signal Mountain, renovation homes in North Chattanooga and lake front properties.
In addition to holding the ABR designation, Smith is a graduate of the Realtors’ Institute, denoted by the GRI designation that signifies mastery in the various aspects of residential brokerage. She also is a certified premier properties specialist, so noted with the CPPS designation that signifies excellence in marketing higher priced and estate properties in the Greater Chattanooga area.
A member of the National, Tennessee and Chattanooga Associations of Realtors, Smith also is an active member within her community. Currently, she is on the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s Alumni Council and is an active member at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church. Prior to joining Crye-Leike in 1999, Smith was in education within the public and private school systems in Chattanooga for over 12 years.
