Crye-Leike Agent Doris Townsend Excels In Residential Brokerage

Chattanooga, Tenn. – Crye-Leike, Realtors announces that one of its sales associates, Doris Townsend of Ooltewah, has been awarded the certified residential specialist (CRS) designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).  Only 5 percent of Realtors nationwide have earned this distinction. It is the highest credential awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field.

The CRS designation is a nationally recognized professional designation. The CRS program provides Realtors with the skills needed to render greater and broader services to help clients maximize profits and minimize costs in the home buying or selling transaction process.

To earn the CRS credential, Townsend demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate, had a proven track record in real estate sales as well as had advanced education in the related areas of finance, technology and marketing.

A multi-million dollar producer, Townsend has over 17 years of real estate experience and is affiliated with Crye-Leike’s East Brainerd branch office, located at 1510 Gunbarrel Road in Chattanooga. She serves the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in and around Hamilton and Bradley counties, specializing in the Apison, Collegedale, East Brainerd, East Ridge, Harrison, Hixson, McDonald and Ooltewah areas of Chattanooga.

In addition to holding her CRS designation, Townsend is a graduate of the Realtors Institute, which signifies specialization in residential brokerage and denoted by the GRI designation. She is a member of Crye-Leike’s Multi-Million Dollar Club (MMDC) as one of over 550 Crye-Leike sales associates recognized annually for selling individually in excess of $2 million. She also is a member of the National, Tennessee and Chattanooga Associations of Realtors.

Townsend, a resident of Ooltewah for 23 years, is an active volunteer for the YMCA and United Way. She is a member of the Chickamauga Lake Homeowners Association and has been a member of Ooltewah Baptist Church for 20 years.

“The greatest compliment I can receive from my clients and friends is to be referred to their friends and relatives,” she said.
