Crye-Leike Agent Marie King Excels in Residential Brokerage

Chattanooga, Tennessee – Crye-Leike, Realtors’ sales associate Marie King of Hixson has been awarded the designation of certified residential specialist (CRS) by the Council of Residential Specialists, a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Only 5 percent of all Realtors nationwide have earned this distinction.

The CRS designation is a nationally recognized professional designation and the highest credential awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field.  The CRS program provides Realtors with the skills needed to render greater and broader services to help clients maximize profits and minimize costs in the home buying or selling transaction process.

To earn the CRS credential, King demonstrated professional expertise and a proven track record in the field of residential real estate as well as had advanced education in the related fields of finance, marketing and technology.

King is affiliated with Crye-Leike’s Hixson branch office. Licensed in Tennessee and Georgia, she serves the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in Hamilton County as well as in the surrounding counties of Bradley, Marion, and North Georgia’s Catoosa County.

In addition to securing her CRS designation, King has attained several other professional recognitions.  She is an accredited buyer representative (ABR), specializing in real estate buyer representation, and holds the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) designation, which signifies specialization in residential and non -residential brokerage.

As a multi-million dollar producer, King has attained membership into Crye-Leike’s Multi-Million Dollar Club, a level of distinction that recognizes the outstanding sales performance of its sales associates for individually selling annually in excess of $2 million in real estate.

King is a member of the National, Tennessee, and Chattanooga Associations of Realtors.  As an active member of her local Realtor association, she most recently was elected as a three-year director. She is chairperson of the Chattanooga Association of Realtors’ Environmental Committee as well as a member of its Public Relations Committee and Public Education Task Force.

She also is a member and recent past president of Business Network International (BNI), Hixson Chapter. BNI is a business and professional networking organization that allows only one representative per profession in each chapter.

A resident of Chattanooga for over 14 years, King is a member of Hixson United Methodist Church.  Prior to joining Crye-Leike in 1999, King was in retail sales and management for three years.
