Crye-Leike’s Kendra Cooke Becomes a Broker

Nashville, Tenn. – The Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC) recently announced that Kendra Cooke of Crye-Leike, Realtors, has received her broker’s license after successfully passing the real estate broker licensure examination in November 2004.

To become eligible for the examination, Cooke met strict experience and education requirements as a broker candidate. Broker candidates must have held an active license as an affiliate broker for a minimum specified period and must have successfully completed 120 classroom hours of real estate education, 30 hours of which must be an office or brokerage management course taken at a TREC approved school.

Cooke is a full-time broker, associated with Crye-Leike’s Smyrna branch office, located at 599 Sam Ridley Parkway.  With over 16 years of sales experience, she serves the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in the Smyrna area, including Davidson, Rutherford, Wilson and Williamson counties. She specializes in new homes construction and buyer representation.

Her sales producer performance has brought her recognition within Crye-Leike as the No. 1 sales producer in Smyrna as well as among Crye-Leike’s Top 25 sales producer in Middle Tenn. who have achieved the highest volume in sales.

Cooke is a life member of Crye-Leike’s Multi-Million Dollar Club, a level of distinction that exemplifies her outstanding sales performance in selling in excess of $2 million annually over a five-year period while maintaining a strict code of ethics and professionalism.

In 2003, Cooke was inducted into Crye-Leike’s Circle of Excellence, an honor Crye-Leike bestows to sales associates who show exemplary performance in the areas of advanced education, ethics, loyalty, sales volume and service to the community and the real estate profession.  With this honor, Cooke was named vice president of Crye-Leike.

Cooke holds many other nationally recognized professional designations.  She is an accredited buyer representative (ABR) who excels in buyer representation, certified residential specialist (CRS), the highest credential awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field, and a certified builder specialist (CBS), specializing in the issues involved in new homes construction.

Cooke is the first Crye-Leike agent in the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors’ history to receive its Diamond Award in 2003 in recognition of her attaining the $10 million sales mark in one year.  Following her 2003 achievement, she was elected to the Tennessee Association of Realtors’ board of directors for the 2004-2005 year.

Other awards she received for her sales performance include:  Greater Nashville Association of Realtors’ Silver Award Recipient 1998 for generating over $2 million in sales; Greater Nashville Association of Realtors’ Gold Award Recipient 1999-2002 for her annual sales volume of over $4 million; and, Award of Excellence Life Member from the Nashville Association of Realtors in 2002 for achieving five consecutive years of exemplary sales performance.

Also an active member in her community, she is a diplomat for the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, and also served as new teams chairperson for the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk in 2002 and 2003.  She also organizes Crye-Leike’s annual food drive for the Smyrna – La Vergne Food Bank.
