Crye-Leike’s Shirley Curry Excels in Marketing Premier Properties

Tupelo, Miss. –  Crye-Leike, Realtors announces that Shirley Curry, one of its multi-million dollar producers, was recently awarded the company’s certified premier properties specialist (CPPS) designation which signifies excellence in marketing higher priced and estate properties in the Greater Tupelo area. She is among 91 Crye-Leike sales associates company wide who have achieved this distinction.

“The CPPS designation, the benchmark of excellence in premier properties services, demonstrates to the public and to prospective clients in this high end market that our agents have taken steps to continue their education in marketing premier properties, and have the proven experience and training to deliver the highest level of ethical and professional service,” said Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer.     To attain this distinction, Curry completed a highly specialized two-day training course on architecture, custom construction, insurance, appraisal, finance issues and interior and exterior design. She also met strict elective and experience requirements, one of which includes selling higher priced and estate properties.

A resident of Tupelo, Curry is affiliated with Crye-Leike’s Tupelo branch office, located at 2000 N. Gloster. She serves the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in Lee County as well as within the surrounding counties of Alcorn, Chickasaw, Itawamba, LaFayette, Monroe, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo and Union counties. She specializes in residential, commercial, land, new home construction and foreclosures as well as first time homebuyers, move up buyers, empty nesters, retirees and relocations.

She is a member of Crye-Leike’s Multi-Million Dollar Club, an elite group of sales producers who are recognized annually for individually selling in excess of $2 million.

Professionally, Curry is a member of the National Association of Realtors and is also an active member within her local and state Realtor boards. She will serve as 2005 secretary of the Northeast Mississippi Board of Realtors, a position she also held in 2003. There, she also serves as 2004 chairman of its Governmental Affairs and Legislative Committee. Within the Mississippi Association of Realtors, Curry currently serves as 2004 trustee of Leadership Mississippi; is a member of the association’s Affordable Housing Committee; and is on the Member and Local Board Services Committee at a state level.

In addition to attaining her certified premier properties specialist designation, Curry also holds the accredited buyer representative (ABR) designation, the benchmark of excellence in real estate buyer representation.
