Crye-Leike’s Regina Clay Named to Realtors Land Institute
West Memphis, Ark. – Regina Kent Clay of Crye-Leike, Realtors has been selected for membership in the Realtors Land Institute (RLI) where she will be working toward attaining the accredited land consultant (ALC) designation.
After meeting stringent experience and knowledge requirements in the intricacies of land transactions, Clay will join an elite group of over 1,200 land real estate specialists who are recognized throughout North America as experts in their field.
To attain this distinction, Clay has currently received training in the following intricacies of agricultural sales: calculating government program and counter cyclical payments, and relationships between market price, loan rate and target price of commodities. Estimating net operating income and income capitalization were also among the ALC training Clay received in Denver, Colo. and Jackson Hole Wyo. Included were studies of when a 1031 is the best option in land sales, as well as how income capitalization breaks down when buyers have non-income driven motives for owning land.
Growing up with a father who has farmed for the past 50 years, Clay has a heartfelt interest in agricultural sales and appreciates its beauty. “I really want to sell farm land because the land, its preservation and its beauty are more magnificent to me than any house that I could ever sell.”
A resident of Marked Tree, Clay is an affiliate broker associated with Crye-Leike’s West Memphis, Ark. branch office, located at 710 N. Missouri Street in West Memphis. She serves the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in Crittenden County as well as within the surrounding counties of St. Francis, Cross, Lee, Poinsett and Mississippi counties in Arkansas and specializes in relocation, farm land and residential properties.
Clay has been recognized for her sales production as a sales leader within her office and is a member of Crye-Leike’s Multi-Million Dollar Club, a membership that recognizes Clay’s individual sales production in selling in excess of $2 million. She also is a member of the Arkansas Million Dollar Club.
She also holds the Graduate, Realtors Institute (GRI) designation that signifies mastery in the various aspects of residential brokerage.
Clay is a member of the National, Arkansas and West Memphis Associations of Realtors.
Prior to entering the real estate industry, Clay taught physics and chemistry at Marked Tree High School for 25 years. There, she received many notable awards, including the NASA Award in Teaching for furthering the education of America’s youth in science and the Exemplary Teacher Award from the Arkansas Sate Department of Education for submitting an experiment for students and was awarded $1,000 for lab equipment. Accredited land consultants are members of the RLI Land Network, a business network of over 1,200 land specialists through North America.
