Bowling Green, Ky. – Crye*Leike Executive Realty, the largest franchisee of Crye-Leike, Realtors, the nation’s 10th largest real estate company, has expanded business operations by moving into a newly built $1.5 million office facility, located at 1278 Campbell Lane in Bowling Green, Ky.

The move was prompted by the company’s growing sales force, which generated $38.8 million in sales during 2003, said Kirk Tinsley, principal broker and co-owner.

It was less than two years ago when Crye*Leike Executive Realty opened for business in July 2002. “We just outgrew our current space,” said Tinsley, ” and, that’s not such a bad problem to have.”

After just one year in business, co-owners Kirk Tinsley and Geoff Fields saw first-hand how fast their new business and sales force were growing and their 3,120 square foot office space was shrinking. It was at that point that they decided to triple their office space by purchasing the adjacent 1.12-acre lot, with plans to build a new 9,600 sq. ft. office as their future headquarters and lease their existing company-owned building next door.

Crye*Leike is seeking retail sized users who would utilize 1,500 to 3,120 sq. ft. “We will offer turn-key improvements to deliver the space for each tenant,” says Fields.

Crye*Leike’s new facility was built to accommodate up to 55 sales associates who are serving the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in Warren, Simpson, Allen, Barren and Logan counties. Crye*Leike Executive Realty specializes in residential and commercial sales and leasing, relocation, property management and auction services.

Tinsley and Fields have future plans to broaden the company’s services to align with Crye-Leike’s business philosophy and model of providing customers with a one-stop home buying and selling experience. Their plans include adding a commercial division and in-house mortgage company. But their immediate goal is to double their sales volume from last year by year-end, says Tinsley with confidence.

To build Crye*Leike Executive Realty’s new office building, Tinsley and Fields chose to tap into the successes of their franchisor, Crye-Leike, by modifying an existing one-story floor plan and specifications used in building Crye-Leike’s Franklin-Cool Springs branch office in Franklin, Tenn.

Tim Poston Construction served as the general contractor for the project. American Bank & Trust of Bowling Green provided the financing.

The grand opening for Crye*Leike’s Bowling Green branch office, held Thurs., April 29, 2004, revealed its “smart” technology facility, “by far the most sophisticated high tech real estate space in South Central Kentucky,” says Tinsley.        “All of Crye*Leike’s agent offices, desks and workstations have computer accessibility to the Internet, using high speed DSL. Agents can bring their own personal computers or Palm Pilots, or utilize the firm’s own personal computers.  A network card allows the agents’ personal computers to blend with the Crye-Leike network, interacting with the company’s Intranet and Internet.

“With Crye-Leike’s additional marketing programs like Virtual Agent, Smartline, our Sales Automation Tool Kit and Crye-Leike’s Web site, our agents are equipped with the real estate industry’s leading edge technology,” says Tinsley.

Crye-Leike’s Web site ( has become the national resource for real estate, displaying over 70,000 residential and commercial properties for sale a day within six states Crye-Leike has a market presence. Those states include Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky and Mississippi.

Crye-Leike’s Web site has unique on-line search capabilities that have contributed to increasing its Web traffic from a mere 300,000 hits a month to well over 20 million and 500,000 unique visitors a month, notes Gurtej Sodhi, Crye-Leike’s chief information officer.  “And, there’s no end in sight.”

Such search features include Crye-Leike’s own “Virtual Agent,” whereby consumers enter their personal search criteria and whenever a new listing meeting their search criteria becomes available, they immediately receive an e-mail notification. “That way, they literally know a property is on the market the moment it becomes available, when hours and even minutes can mean the difference between getting the home of your dreams or seeing someone buying it instead of you,” says Sodhi.

Crye-Leike Web browsers can also get a sneak preview of the inside of a property without ever leaving their desks through the use of “virtual tours,” an Internet enhancement agents use when listing real estate properties on Crye-Leike’s Web site that offers a 360-degree panoramic movie tour of a property.

Crye-Leike’s “one-stop shopping” business model has set it apart from the rest and has escalated the company to become one of the nation’s fastest growing real estate companies of today. Crye-Leike (, a full service real estate company for 27 years, is the nation’s 10th largest real estate company and the largest serving Tennessee and the Mid-South.

Crye*Leike Executive Realty in Bowling Green is one of 16 franchises in the Crye-Leike franchise network, and one of 19 branch and franchise offices within Crye-Leike’s Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky regions. Last year, Crye-Leike’s Middle Tennessee Region had its best sales performance ever at $1.13 billion, representing 7,469 units sold by its 800-plus sales associates.
