Crye-Leike Opens Office No. 5 in Central Arkansas; Karen Crowson Named Managing Broker

Little Rock, Ark. –  Crye-Leike, Realtors, the 10th largest real estate company in the nation, has established a branch office in Bryant, one of the fastest growing communities in Central Arkansas, and Crye-Leike’s fifth in a stream of branch office openings planned to build a visible presence in the area, says company officials.

Crye-Leike’s Benton-Bryant office is temporarily located in 4,000 square feet in the Hurricane Plaza shopping center at 21941 Interstate 30, suite 26.

Committing to a one-year lease, Chief Executive Officer Harold Crye plans to build a new permanent facility for this office in the next 24 months. “We intend to build our own building, but we’re just looking for that ideal location,” says Crye.

“Bryant’s real estate market ?is on fire,’ ” says Crye. “Bryant is closely tied to the growth of Little Rock. With it being so close to the Pulaski County line, I believe Bryant and Benton will be a fast growth bedroom community for people who want to get out of the city to smell the county air, have lower taxes, lower crime and community schools, but still be in a location that is close to Little Rock.”

He was further convinced to open an office in Bryant when several local real estate agents encouraged him to open an office there. “Those agents live in Saline County and said they sure wished Crye-Leike had an office there,” says Crye.

Karen Crowson named managing broker.       Crye named Realtor Karen Crowson as managing broker of Crye-Leike’s new Bryant sales office. She is responsible for the recruitment and sales management of 25 Crye-Leike sales associates who market residential and commercial properties to buyers and sellers in Saline and Grant counties.

She brings to Crye-Leike over 16 years of real estate experience and staunch credentials as a national, state and local leader and president within the Realtor community. Her professional achievements brought her many accolades, including recognition as a two-time Realtor of the Year award recipient. Her civic and charitable involvement includes being a board member of Habitat for Humanity of Saline County, youth Sunday school teacher for 14 years and missionary to Mexico and Venezuela.

Along with Bryant, Crye-Leike has five other corporate offices located in Central Arkansas: two offices in Little Rock; offices in Conway and Hot Springs; along with another branch to open in North Little Rock within the next few weeks.

Crye-Leike of Arkansas, Inc. has a total of eight (8) corporate and franchise offices in Arkansas and over 160 sales associates who market residential, commercial, investment property, farms and acreage sales in Craighead, Crittenden, Faulkner, Garland, Mississippi, Pulaski and Saline counties.
