Hot Springs Chamber Welcomes Crye-Leike, Realtors to the Area

Little Rock, Ark. –  The Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome its newest member to the business community, Crye-Leike, Realtors, the nation’s 13th largest real estate company and the largest serving Tennessee and the Mid-South.

Crye-Leike’s Hot Springs branch office is located at 4760 Central Avenue, a location previously owned by Prudential Lakefront Real Estate. Crye-Leike acquired Prudential Lakefront Real Estate in Hot Springs, Ark. in November 2002, a strategic move that company officials claim to be the first of many planned for Central Arkansas.

Crye-Leike managing broker Bob Benscoter notes that Crye-Leike has already outgrown its current facility with over 28 sales associates affiliated with the company in that area. “Crye-Leike plans to expand its Hot Springs operations by year-end.       “A site has been identified at 1428 Central Avenue, a former Shoney’s restaurant,” said Benscoter. “This property was particularly attractive to us because of its location and size. The new location will dramatically increase our sales force in the area, up to 45 sales associates.”

Crye-Leike recently expanded its regional operations into Little Rock, Ark. in June 2002, making it Crye-Leike’s fifth regional office, joining Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga and Johnson City in Tennessee. Chief executive officer Harold E. Crye plans to establish six to seven branch offices surrounding the metro area of Little Rock over the next three years.

Crye-Leike of Arkansas has seven corporate and franchise offices in Arkansas and over 127 sales associates who market residential, commercial, investment property, farms and acreage sales in Craighead, Crittenden, Faulkner, Garland, Mississippi and Pulaski counties. Branch offices are located in Conway, Hot Springs, Jonesboro, Little Rock, West Little Rock, West Memphis, and a franchise office in Blytheville.

Crye-Leike (, a full service real estate company for 26 years, has a network of over 2,300 sales associates and 62 branch and franchise offices located in 33 counties throughout a six-state southern region in Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Georgia, Kentucky and Florida.  Crye-Leike attained sales of $3.17 billion and 22,198 closed transaction sides corporate wide in 2002.
