Johnson City, Tennessee – Crye-Leike, Realtors announces that one of its sales associates, Marlene Phillips Adams, has been awarded the accredited buyer representative (ABR) designation by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC) of the National Association of Realtors. The ABR designation is the benchmark of excellence in real estate buyer representation

The ABR designation demonstrates to clients that the agent has taken steps to continue their education in the field of buyer representation and has the proven experience and training to deliver ethical and professional service to real estate buyers.

The requirements for this coveted designation include a comprehensive two-day course in buyer representation, a written examination on legal and practical aspects of client representation and practical experience in the field of buyer representation.

Adams is a full-time affiliate broker who is affiliated with Crye-Leike’s Johnson City branch office. She markets residential properties for buyers and sellers in Washington, Sullivan and Greene counties. The Limestone resident specializes in relocation and buyer’s representation.

Professionally, Adams is a member of the Tennessee Association of Realtors and the Northeast Tennessee Association of Realtors where she is a member of its Technology Committee.  Within her community, she is a member of the Johnson City Parent-Teacher Association and received volunteer awards for her work with the Mountain View Elementary School.

Before joining Crye-Leike, Adams was in early childhood education within the Johnson City school system.
