Crye-Leike’s Joe Manning Becomes a Broker

Chattanooga, Tenn. –  The Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC) recently announced that Joe Manning, CRS, GRI, an affiliate broker with Crye-Leike, Realtors, successfully passed the July 2002 real estate broker licensure examination which entitles him to receive a Tennessee broker’s license and is hereafter referred to as broker.

To become eligible for the examination, Manning met strict experience and education requirements as a broker candidate. Broker candidates must have held an active license as an affiliate broker, and must have successfully completed 120 classroom hours of real estate education, 30 hours of which must be an office or brokerage management course taken at a TREC approved school.

Manning, a resident of McMinn County, is the sales manager of Crye-Leike’s Cleveland, Tenn. branch office, selling new and existing residential properties, including river lots and farm land, to buyers and sellers in Bradley, McMinn, Meigs, Polk and Rhea counties.

A consistent multi-million dollar producer and 23-year real estate veteran, Manning has earned several professional designations. He is a certified residential specialist (CRS), a nationally recognized professional designation that is the highest credential awarded to Realtors? in the residential sales field. The CRS program provides Realtors? with the skills needed to render greater and broader services to help clients maximize profits and minimize costs in the home buying or selling transaction process. Manning also holds the Graduate Realtors Institute designation (GRI), another nationally recognized professional designation that signifies mastery in residential and non-residential brokerage.

Professionally, he is a member of River Counties, Tennessee and National Association of Realtors. The River Counties Association of Realtors, formerly Cleveland Association of Realtors, awarded Manning Realtor-Associate of the Year in 1981 as well as the Presidential Award for his work as chairman of its Education Committee. Outside of the real estate arena, he was actively involved in the Cleveland Jaycees which he was selected as one of the Outstanding Young Men of America in 1985. In his community, Manning is a deacon at Lamontville Baptist Church.
