East Brainerd Office Expands to Accommodate Associate Growth

Chattanooga, Tenn. – Crye-Leike, Realtors, the largest real estate company in Tennessee and the Mid-South, announces the expansion of its East Brainerd branch office to accommodate a total of 87 sales associates who serve Hamilton, Bradley and Catoosa counties. Crye-Leike’s East Brainerd office, located at 1510 Gunbarrel Road, is the largest real estate office in the Metropolitan Chattanooga area.

It has been less than four and one-half years since Crye-Leike, Realtors entered the Metro Chattanooga area in December 1997, emerging from 95 agents to a current record number of 275. Crye-Leike’s East Brainerd branch office has consistently been the top producing sales office among Crye-Leike’s eight branch offices in four counties within the Greater Chattanooga area: Bradley, Hamilton, and McMinn counties, including Catoosa County in North Georgia.

Crye-Leike’s East Brainerd branch office is experiencing growing pains. “We basically ran out of space to accommodate agents who were wanting to join our East Brainerd office,” says Jack Webb, vice president and general manager of Crye-Leike of Chattanooga, Inc. “This is a nice problem to have and our company’s sales growth further reflects our need to expand our East Brainerd office to better serve that market area.”

Crye-Leike of Chattanooga recorded record sales in 2001, selling 2,690 units with a sales volume of over $322 million, an increase of 26.54 percent from one year prior. “Crye-Leike has sold more residential homes and lots than any other real estate firm in the area,” said Webb. “For the first three months of 2002, Crye-Leike is off to a great start, up 39 percent over last year at this time.”

Crye-Leike’s expansion plans include increasing the office space by 3,100 square feet to accommodate 22 more sales associates. This space is made up entirely of private and semi-private offices to accommodate top producers. Every office has also been pre-wired so agents can connect to Crye-Leike’s high speed computer network in order to better serve their technology needs.

Crye-Leike’s East Brainerd branch office now occupies over 10,000 sq. ft. of office space within Crye-Leike Plaza which also serves as the company’s corporate headquarters for the Chattanooga and North Georgia regions.

With Crye-Leike more than tripling its sales volume from $105.3 million to $322.8 in the four and one-half years it has had a presence in Chattanooga, Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer, says that he is actively looking to open a branch office in Dalton, Ga. later this year.

Crye-Leike (www.crye-leike.com), a full service real estate company for 25 years, is the nation’s 13th largest real estate company and the largest serving Tennessee and the Mid-South.
