Crye*Leike Franchises Broadens its Scope Nationwide

Nashville, Tenn. – Crye-Leike, the largest real estate company in Tennessee and the Mid-South, announces its newest initiative to strengthen the Crye-Leike brand and to grow the company through national franchising, announced Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer.

Randall Hall of Crye*Leike Franchises, Inc., a real estate franchisor subsidiary of Crye-Leike, Realtors, has been promoted to national franchise sales manager to lead the company’s franchise expansion.

To date, Hall has secured eight Crye-Leike franchises in Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee with future plans to expand into contiguous states. Hall’s new responsibilities include broadening the company’s scope of franchising markets, a key growth element in maintaining the company’s ranking as the 13th largest real estate company in the nation.

“Since we launched our Crye-Leike franchise Web site (, the level of national interest in our franchising program has increased,” said Hall. “We have gotten inquiries from Florida to California. Investors are looking at other options in today’s market and real estate franchising is a viable alternative.”

Hall, a resident of Williamson County, began franchising operations for Crye-Leike in 1999 as director of franchises, focusing marketing efforts on establishing franchises in smaller populated areas within Tennessee and contiguous states. Hall’s previous experience with Subway Sandwiches as an owner and area franchise developer for seven years coupled with his 22 years of experience in commercial real estate gave him the background needed to launch Crye-Leike’s initial franchising program.

“Franchising allows Crye-Leike to create awareness of the Crye-Leike brand in markets where we normally would not open a company office because of market size and location,” said Hall. “With Crye-Leike’s regional headquarters strategically located in Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga and Johnson City, we are now better positioned within the Mid-South to attract and to serve prospective franchisees in the many states that surround us.”

The Crye-Leike franchise network includes offices in: Tennessee (Monteagle, Grundy County; Pickwick Dam, Hardin County; Decatur, Meigs County; Kingston, Roane County and Morristown, Hamblen County); Arkansas (Blytheville, Mississippi County); Mississippi (New Albany, Union County); and Kentucky (Bowling Green, Warren County). Crye*Leike Franchises, Inc. is headquartered in Brentwood, Tenn.

Before moving to Nashville in 1994, Hall was active in his hometown community of Blytheville, Ark. He served on the board of trustees for Mississippi County Community College and the Blytheville City Planning Commission as well as the U.S. Air Force Base Community Council. His commitment to his community was complimented with a nomination as Arkansas Businessman of the Year in 1992.
