Joyce McKenzie Excels in Residential and Non-Residential Brokerage

Memphis, Tennessee – Crye-Leike, Realtors? announces that Joyce McKenzie of Crye-Leike’s Collierville branch office was one of five sales associates who recently was awarded the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) designation by the Realtor Institute of the National Association of Realtors?. The GRI designation is a nationally recognized professional designation that signifies mastery of a specific and intensive program of classroom instruction in residential and non-residential brokerage.

Through the Realtor Institute program, real estate professionals study marketing, ethics, contracts, construction, appraisal, finance and other topics in residential and non-residential brokerage. The GRI program provides real estate professionals with the skills needed to render greater and broader services to the public and to prospective clients. Successful graduation from the GRI program in Tennessee requires completion of 96 hours of course work and eight written examinations on various aspects of the courses taken.

The GRI program curriculum and standards are governed by the National Association of Realtors?, the nation’s largest professional trade association, representing nearly 720,000 members involved in all aspects of the real estate industry. There are more than 24,000 Realtors in North America who hold the GRI designation. Currently, over 4,700 Realtors? in Tennessee hold the GRI designation, with several thousand having taken one or more courses in the program series.
