Home Services Program Receives Real Estate Indsutry Accolades

Memphis, Tenn. – Crye-Leike’s newly-established Home-Link? customer service program, managed by Crye-Leike Homes Services, was recently the recipient of a distinguished real estate award.

REAL Trends, Inc., a leading source of analysis and information on the residential real estate brokerage industry, honored the Home-Link program with the Most Innovative Product/Service Award.  Crye-Leike is a Home-Link licensee and has been offering this unique program to its customers since March 2001.

“This survey is particularly significant because it represents the collective sentiment of the real estate industry, ” said William Raveis, chairman and chief executive officer of Home-Link Services Inc. “Those who deal in real estate on a daily basis know that Home-Link is changing our business.”

“Home-Link is a new business model revolutionary to the real estate industry in Tennessee,” said Harold E. Crye, chief executive officer of Crye-Leike. “It leverages technology to provide highly personalized service, convenience and savings for all of the activities and transactions associated with home purchases, sales and home ownership.”

“Home-Link simplifies home ownership,” said C.F. Moore, director of Crye-Leike Home Services. “It utilizes Internet based technology, coupled with Personal Move Coordinators?, and allows our Crye-Leike sales associates to offer their clients, free of charge, access to a network of home ownership and family-related services. Home-Link further allows our sales associates to continue their relationship with their clients beyond the real estate transaction, creating a ‘customer for life.’ ”

“Home-Link is a remarkable integration of the latest technology with the professionalism and personal service our agents have always provided,” said Crye. “With Crye-Leike already providing home improvement and design services, moving toward offering additional home services was a natural progression. We are extremely proud to be associated with Home-Link.”

REAL Trends’ Most Admired & Influential of 2000 Survey was compiled from a questionnaire that was distributed to over 10,000 readers of REAL Trends in late 2000. According to REAL Trends, winners were selected entirely by their readers, without any intervention from REAL Trends’ staff or any others. The Innovation Award is given to that company which directly affects the core competencies of the traditional real estate business model.

“These results are the truest indicator of those developments which the industry sees as outstanding. In a business of so much interaction and individual decision making, it is the practitioners who can best judge the merits of being influential, admired or innovative,” said Stephen H. Murray, editor of REAL Trends.

Home-Link has received much attention in the last year for its business platform which

helps brokers move beyond a single transaction relationship and become deeply involved in the broader context of each client’s home ownership. The program provides an easily implemented platform that provides brokers access to the revenues generated by ancillary purchases associated with home ownership.
